All in micro wedding

Cassie & Max's McLaren Vale + Victor's Place Small Wedding

When you can’t choose between eloping and having a traditional wedding, a small wedding may fill the gap you’re looking for. Cassie and Max had a small wedding with their closest family and friends, keeping their day intimate like an elopement with the bells and whistles of a larger wedding including a larger bridal party and delicious reception at Victor’s Place. They pulled it off beautifully! It was such a gorgeous day, so we’ll let the photos do the talking.

Bethany & Brayden's Micro Wedding

Bethany and Brayden’s wedding was a beautiful sunny day nestled in the rolling hills of Sinclair’s Gully. A small and intimate wedding with all those special touches, and lots of love. Bethany and Brayden simply looked forward to getting married and sharing their special day with their nearest and dearest. After their ceremony at Sinclair’s Gully, they headed down the hill to the Norwood Hotel for a relaxed and fun reception.

Sam and Pete's Intimate Kuitpo Forest and McLaren Vale Wedding

Sam and Pete had a beautiful elopement with just their parents and grandma in rustic South Australia. Staying at gorgeous Kallamurra Farm Stay in the morning and evening both to get ready and have a delicious dinner prepared by the Salopian Inn. With their ceremony at Burbrook Forest in Kuitpo Forest, portraits in a lovely native scrub of kuitpo and along Port Willunga beach as the sunset, Sam and Pete really took advantage of some beautiful locations. Of course, no wedding would have been complete without their beautiful little fur baby either. Biggest of congratulations Sam and Pete!! x

Rachel & Harry's Relaxed Elopement Style Wedding in the Adelaide Hills

Kate and I loved this little elopement in the Adelaide Hills, starting just outside of Hahndorf and ending with a little trip to the Mount Lofty Lookout. Marrying at the cutest little AirBnB (which also happened to have some photo location that had me very happy), Rachel and Harry were surrounded by the warm colours of Autumn, and the warmth of the love beaming from close friends and family. It really was a beautifully happy, easy-going and relaxed day, all about family, the gorgeous scenery, getting dolled up, and of course - saying I do!

Shelley and Michael's Port Willunga Micro Wedding at Russell's Pizza

Shelley and Michael had a very fun and relaxed micro wedding in Port Willunga. Taking advantage of the gorgeous Port Willunga beach (& jetty ruins) and the delicious pizza of Russell’s Pizza. With a little escape for some cliffside sunset portrait adventures. As always, Kate delivered the most heartfelt and relaxed wedding ceremony, with a beautiful gathering of family and friends. Shelley’s Grace Loves Lace dress was stunning, and the kids brought a lot of life and laughter to the day.

Adele & Tim's Marybank Micro Wedding

Adele and Tim had a beautiful micro wedding at Marybank just days before Christmas in a heartwarming ceremony. Standing in front of their nearest and dearest, telling each other how much they mean to each other, and declaring their love. Aside from the love all around, it was a relaxed afternoon, all about celebrating with their family and enjoying delicious cheese and cannoli. All of their favourite things and people in one gorgeous afternoon!

Erin & Rhys' Nordic Style McLaren Vale Elopement

Erin and Rhys had a fun, relaxed and nordic style wedding in the beautiful McLaren Vale. With tributes to Thor, hand binding and outfit choices all nodding to their Nordic style. In the beautiful Burbrook forest, with nearby Kuitpo and Blanche Point not far away down beautiful dirt roads we had no shortage of gorgeous places to stop for portraits too. Of course, a quick stop at McDonalds for first meal as married couple was a must as well. Taking lots of gorgeous portraits can be hungry work!

Jade & James' Kuitpo Forest Micro Wedding

Jade and James were the second lucky competition winners of our free elopement giveaway. And despite the weather causing us to pull together and relocate to a dryer location for the ceremony, as a team we managed to deliver a gorgeous little micro wedding with a beautiful forest feel and portraits. A secret wedding day that was full of love and tears.

Lani & Matt's Private Home Micro Wedding

Who says private home weddings can't be completely elegant, chic and classy? Because this little wedding was one that dripped with beautiful elegance and character. Set in a perfect private home full to bursting with love, style, good food, beautiful little girls, and the most gorgeous wedding details. Lani and Matt did their wedding day their way, nothing overly formal or fussy. Just beautiful, quality and real. Kate and I were both thrilled to be a part of their day.

Kayla & Tom's Adelaide Hills Micro Wedding

Bonny Berg Bed and Breakfast is one of Kate and my favourite elopement/micro wedding venues in Adelaide. A gorgeous setting with the warmest hospitality and a lovely setting for Kayla & Tom's Micro Wedding. With just their nearest and dearest in attendance, they married with an intimate ceremony beneath beautiful green trees. Followed by celebrations and beautiful portraits around the rustic grounds.

Geri & Daniel's Mount Lofty Micro Wedding

What is a wedding day all about? For us it's about love, family, celebrating your future, and endless smiles. Which is exactly what Geri & Daniel's little wedding at Mount Lofty House was full of. It didn't matter that their day was an elopement with family, they still included all of the beautiful wedding elements that they wanted to. Getting ready photos, a gorgeous bouquet, a yummy Heidelberg cake, family photos, and a small lunch to celebrate. All at the beautiful location of Mount Lofty House, overlooking a stunning view and rolling hills. It was the perfect day.

Megan & Andrew's Adelaide Botanic Park Micro Wedding

Megan & Andrew's elopement on Friday was a beautiful and special day. We were a little worried about the weather, keeping a back up plan ready to go just in case. But in the end, the weather was incredibly beautiful. The big Morton Bay Fig trees held special meaning for Megan & Andrew, and also provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding. I love how their huge branches and roots enveloped the ceremony in a sweeping embrace. It did rain a little bit, but it was also sunny. This is a magical combination. Guests and family cuddled together under umbrellas as a light shower sprinkled down during the reception, the droplets glowing in the sun.
