Are you LGBT friendly?

Yes! Love is love, and we are more than happy to help create and capture beautiful memories for any couple regardless of the person they love.

How many guests can or should we bring?

If you can’t bare to leave your besties or family behind, our packages allow for up to 5 guests. Five or less additional people often allows you to use public areas at no charge. If you want more than 5 guests, we recommend hiring a venue and adding additional photography time. Just to make sure that everything, and everyone is covered. We have additional fees for up to 10 guests, up to 15 guests, and up to 20 guests. We do not take bookings for more than 20 guests.

We’re keen on a videographer. Can we add one to our package?

Why do we need to book a minimum 1 month in advance?

To be legally married we need to have your notice of intent to marry lodged a minimum of 1 month before your wedding day. Our Aussie government loves to be organised.

How far do you travel for weddings?

We love travelling for weddings! That's why all weddings within roughly 25km of the Adelaide CBD generally incur no additional travel fee. We only charge at-cost for travel fees, so get in touch with us for a quote today! x

To secure us for your wedding date we require a 25% non-refundable booking fee + $275 non-refundable notice of intent to marry lodgement fee, with the remaining balance due 1 month out from your elopement date. x

Can I make additional payments in the lead up to the elopement?

Yes! If you want to make payments in a few lump sums in the lead up to your elopement we are happy for you to do so. Please be sure to notify us of this via email so we can keep an eye out for your payment and send you a receipt.

Do you have a quality of work guarantee?

Yes! As part of your digital contract, we offer a quality of work guarantee. You can read more about it in our Terms & Conditions.

How do I book?

To book us, simply give us a call or send us an email to check if we're available on your date. If so, we can arrange a time to catch up face-to-face (if you like), so we can get to know each other a little better. To lock us in and secure your booking and price a non-refundable booking fee is required, and submission of your digital contract agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. This locks us in for your date and ensures that no one else can book in your day!

How early should I book?

We start booking out the warmer Spring/Summer weekends an average of 8 -16 months in advance, but if you love our concept/work and we get along great it's best to book as early as you can. (To avoid the disappointment of missing out). Weekdays tend to have a lot more availability than weekends, but you need to book us with at least 6 weeks notice, so we can get all of the appropriate documents lodged.

How early can I book?

You can start booking dates up to 24 months in advance, and with no less than 6 weeks notice. Please note that Saturdays require a minimum of 4 hours of photography.

Do you work public holidays?

Yes, we work some public holidays, but not always. :) We’re generally closed from Christmas Eve 24/12 through until early January. Australia Day (26/01), the Easter long weekend, Anzac Day (25/04), etc incur a 20% holiday fee (dependent on booking location and times etc).

What payment methods do you accept?

You can make your payments via bank transfer. We also accept credit card and Paypal, however this incurs a 1.5% surcharge to cover processing fees.

What happens if Sarah or Kate is sick or injured and cannot photograph/officiate our wedding?

Our Wild Love Elopements has a list of carefully selected back-up & second photographers and celebrants. If Sarah or Kate isn't able to attend your wedding, as much notice as possible will be provided along with every effort to supply a substitute photographer and/or celebrant. In some cases Sarah/Kate will still accompany the back-up photographer/celebrant, so they can support her in legwork allowing her to rest a little more on the day, whilst still creating and capturing some of those gorgeous moments. Sarah will still edit all of your photos, and be involved in all other aspects of your photography process where possible. You can read more about this in our terms & conditions.

Why do I need to pay a booking fee?

The booking fee paid protects both you and your photographer and celebrant. You will have your elopement date and package price confirmed in writing, and the photographer and celebrant will have a guarantee that the booking will be honoured. Your booking fee will cover the standard running costs that would otherwise cause the business to run at a loss in the event of a cancellation. We may turn down several other clients to keep your date free after booking, with no booking fee a cancelled booking would result in a more than sustainable loss of income.

Why can’t I book a 2 hour weekend elopement more than 3 months in advance?

Kate and Sarah also work with Blissful Wedding Ceremonies and Little Car Photography to capture larger wedding days. As this is a full time endeavour of love for both of them, weekends need to be reserved (until 3 months out) for larger weddings that will bring in enough money to allow them to continue doing what they love.

When is the final payment due?

Your final payment is due 1 month before your wedding day.

I need to change my elopement date, what happens to my deposit?

If you need to change your wedding date for any reason, you can transfer your shoot to any other available date given 8 months notice minimum. If providing less than 8 months notice you will loose 50% of your booking fee to accommodate the changes. Please note, that for every additional year that your shoot is postponed, the package selected will increase in price by 5%. Packages cannot be postponed more than 1 year.

I need to cancel my elopement or photo shoot, what happens to my deposit?

If you need to cancel your booking and don't intend to reschedule, your booking fee is forfeit. If you've made any additional instalment payments towards your package, these will be refunded to you within 2 months.

Photography Specific

Do you photoshop?

Whilst we don't believe in or include excessive photoshop with our packages (because we are all beautiful as we are), if you're bruised from a bucks night, have an unfortunate pimple or random photo bombers lurk in the background, we'll happily remove these temporary & unwelcome additions for you from most photos (where possible) in photoshop. Please be sure to let us know though, as we love natural photography we won't make any alterations to your photos unless you request it. Our photos come as standard as a true record and representation of your day. If you want us to retouch your hair, skin, figure, eyes, teeth, tan etc, or request extensive photoshopping this is charged out at an additional fee, from $22 per photo.

How do you edit / process your photos?

We're glad you asked! You can read all about Sarah's editing style in one of her Little Car Photography blog posts, which shows you some before & after examples as well as a brief description of how she chooses to process her photos. You can read the post here.

How long will it take to receive my photos back?

We want to get your photos back to you in as timely a manner as possible, but also understand how important it is to do things properly. We provide a sneak peek of your photos within a few business days of your shoot! If you're happy for us to share them on our blog/s, this includes roughly 20-70 photos. If you prefer that your photos remain private, we will email you a few of our favourite photos as we edit the rest. The remainder of your photos will be edited within 4-8 weeks, with printing of products taking an additional average of 2-4 weeks.

Want all of your photos back super fast? Just ask us how! You can request a rush job for an additional fee.

Can I print my own photos?

Yes! All of our current packages include ownership of your photos, which means you can print as many photos and products as you like with your preferred local printer.

Can I have a copy of the RAW files?

Sorry, no we do not give out copies of our RAW files. For Sarah, the editing process is a vitally important step in delivering a finished photo that reflects the true artistic intent of the photo. You will receive the highest quality jpg outputs of the beautifully finished image files instead. If you like, you can purchase additional copies of your photos in TIFF format within 12 months of your wedding for a fee, which covers the additional delivery time and hard-drive.

Can I share my photos on Facebook, Instagram or other social media sites?

Yes! You can share your photos with friends and family online via email and/or social media. Every package includes a copy of your photos at "web resolution", which is optimised for fast uploading and viewing on the web.

How long do you keep a copy of our photos?

We will keep a backed-up copy of your photos for a minimum of 12 months following your shoot date. After this time there is no guarantee that we will have a copy of all of your photos (should you loose yours). Though we do try to keep an archive of all photos on local hard-drives these are not guaranteed to last the test of time, please make sure you keep a backup copy of your photos somewhere safe. You can also share copies of your photos with family and friends.

Who Owns the photos?

If booking a current package, then you do! And you can use, print and share your photos any time, as many times as you like. Our Wild Love Elopements, Little Car Photography and Blissful Wedding Ceremonies maintains a licence to use the photos for promotional purposes online & in print, (unless you request that the photos not be used for promotional purposes in writing via letter or email). For more information, please see our terms & conditions.
